Philosophy: My philosophy is that women's bodies were made to give birth. When we are free from
intervention, we can use our God given abilities to naturally and safely bring our children into the world.
Bio: I became interested in birth while pregnant with my first child. I took a Bradley class and it opened me up to
more possibilities as far as going natural. I decided through much prayer and consideration to have my son at
home with a midwife and a doula in March of 2009.
How many births do you attend? Limit of 2 per month
I serve women birthing in these hospitals: All in Charlotte and surrounding area, and homebirths
How many prenatal and postpartum visits do you provide? 2 prenatal, 1 postpartum
Additional Services: teen support, breastfeeding help and support, help in writing birth plan
