Bio: I am originally from Monterrey, Mexico and came
to the USA in 2003 to work as an elementary teacher.
I met my husband while teaching and married in 2007.
I’ve always had this special bond with pregnant ladies
(to me is the most amazing and beautiful stage of a
woman). And as I saw my sisters getting pregnant
and having their babies I thought one day it would
happen to me. I have had difficulties sustaining a
pregnancy but finally got to have one of my own. I planned a natural childbirth but was willing to do whatever was
best for my baby and me. I had a very quick labor and when I was 7 cm dilated I found out he was “frank breech”
so I had to have an emergency c-section.
I am a SAHM from Mondays – Thursdays and work on Fridays as a “play therapist” for Infant and
Toddlers. I am also a Parent Counselor and have been doing this for 2 years now. I speak both languages,
English and Spanish
Philosophy: I have one baby and while experiencing several losses I know the importance of having someone
you can talk to, and who can give you that emotional and caring support. As a mom, teacher and counselor I am
willing to provide with helpful information and respect the parent’s choice of their ideal childbirth without any
judgments. I know in the bottom of my heart that I have been called for this mission. And I am so happy to have
been given this opportunity through this precious time in life.
How many births do you attend a year?
I serve women birthing in these hospitals: Union County, Matthews and Charlotte Area
How many prenatal and postpartum visits do you provide? 2 prenatal and 1 postpartum and more if
needed
Additional Services: Infant Toddler Family Specialist (CNC Access) Play Therapist (0 to 3 years) and Family
