Bio: I am a 27 year old mother of an energetic four year old boy. I have been happily married for 8 years to a
wonderful and loving man. I am a strong Christian woman and try to put God first in all things. I have a desire in
my heart for more children someday because I love children and babies, and enjoy the whole birthing process. I
believe a woman can and should birth naturally and in her own way. God has given me this gift of helping
mothers through labor and birth and I am very excited to be on this new and adventurous journey.
Philosophy: The birth of a baby is such a wonderful and exciting journey for a mother. It should not only be the
safest passage into the world for the baby but also an extraordinary life experience for the mother. The way she
experiences the birth - either negative or positive - will impact how she feels about it for the rest of her life. I want
to help each mother take the most positive memories away from her birth by educating and guiding her through
the process. My goal is for each mother to understand, respect, and cherish this fragile yet magnificent time so it
will be a wonderful memory for her to tell when her child grows up.
How many births do you attend a year? 15-18
I serve women birthing in these hospitals: Charlotte, Rock Hill and surrounding areas. I also attend birth
center and home births.
How many prenatal and postpartum visits do you provide? 3 prenatal and 2 postpartum
