Tranings/Certifications: I am currently working on my CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professionals
Association) labor doula certification. I have completed the training. I also plan to complete CAPPA training to
become a childbirth educator and a lactation consultant
Bio: I grew up in Rock Hill, SC where I live with my extremely supportive husband Mike. We have 3 amazing
children: Jackson is 8 years old, Anna Quinn is 4, and Sullivan turned 1 in January. My favorite pre-family
activity was horseback riding. I enjoy being outdoors and I love a good laugh.
Philosophy: I believe that natural childbirth is safest and best for most women, but also that there is no wrong
way to give birth. It is every woman's right to plan and make informed decisions about her birth. I believe that
women should trust their bodies. I am a very strong supporter of breastfeeding and have seen the benefits in
myself and my three children.
How many births do you attend a year? 12-18
I serve women birthing in these hospitals: Piedmont, CMC Pineville, any within 1 hour of Rock Hill
How many prenatal and postpartum visits do you provide? 3 prenatal and 1 postpartum
