Bio: "I am currently a landscape designer
and live with my partner Zach and share
custody with his 10 year old son Noah.
And for as long as I could remember I've
wanted to be a mother. Unfortunately, it
has not worked out that way yet but I
continue to have faith that one day it will. During these months of trying to conceive, I've spent a
lot of time researching pregnancy and birth and believe that this ultimately led to my desire to be
a doula. To be around that baby energy and to help mothers be the strongest they can be. I just
was my friends doula for the birth of her first child. She wanted a natural birth and with the
support of her very loving husband and i, everything went perfectly and it was one of the most
incredible experiences of my life. I still need 2 births to complete my DONA certification, so I am
offering my support for a low price until i become certified.
Philosophy: At 19 I read “Spiritual Midwifery” by Ina May Gaskin and it changed my life. I know in
my heart that birth is the most natural and spiritual thing a woman can go through. And I believe
that through nutrition and a healthy lifestyle a woman can have a very healthy child and
pregnancy. I do believe in natural childbirth but understand that things happen and the mother
will need love and support to get through whatever process her birth evolves into. I kept finding
myself asking the Universe “how can I help” and I believe that my question has been answered
by following this doula path.
How many births do you attend a year? 1 - 2 per month
I serve clients birthing in these hospitals: I live near downtown (Dilworth Area) and will work
within a 45 mile radius.
How many prenatal and postpartum visits do you provide? 1 free consultation, 2 prenatal
and 1 postpartum
Additional Services: Nutrition Counseling, Family Awareness Method counseling.
