Bio: I am a mother of two beautiful children. I became very interested in natural childbirth while
pregnant with my first baby. My husband and I took the Bradley Method childbirth education
classes and loved everything we learned. Our instructor served as our doula for both births.
She was wonderful and taught us so much. I loved my births! I want to help other parents enjoy
a beautiful birth of their own.
Philosophy: Pregnancy is a time to cherish, enjoy and learn. Every mother and father should be
able to have the opportunity to be educated about natural childbirth and decide whether it is right
for them. My goal is to help the mother know her body is doing what it is supposed to do to
during labor. I encourage her to work with her body, while giving comfort, love and support to the
mother and father. Women are made to have babies and need the encouragement that they can
do it!
How many births do you attend a year?
I serve clients birthing in these hospitals: 50 mile radius around Lake Norman area or
Charlotte.
How many prenatal and postpartum visits do you provide? 1 prenatal and 1 postpartum as
well as 24 hour availability via phone or email.
