Bio:I am the mother of an adorable, very active 2 year old boy and have
been married for 4 years. I am energetic, compassionate and love to
laugh. I have been interested in the childbirth process for as far back as I can remember. I
volunteered and supported through several births during college and then after I went through
the process myself, it confirmed my need to be involved with others during this awesome time of
their life. I have been through childbirth education training and am certified in lactation, currently
working toward taking my boards. Having my son was empowering and I want for all mothers to
have that same feeling.
Philosophy: All pregnancies and births are very different and because of this each should be
handled accordingly. Everyone has different needs and I help to customize birth plans to suit
each individual so they can have the absolute best birth experience possible. My goal is also to
provide the mother and partner with all information necessary to make decisions during this time
and support them through these decisions. I want to get to know my clients before the birth so
they feel comfortable with me and I will instinctively know what to do to suit their needs.
Everyone will remember the day each of their children is born vividly and I strive for this memory
to be one that they will share over and over.
How many births do you attend a year? 12-14
I serve clients birthing in these hospitals: Charlotte Metro
How many prenatal and postpartum visits do you provide? 2 prenatal and 1 postpartum
