Bio: I am a mother of five beautiful children and a passionate believer in the transformative
power of birth. I hold a master's degree in counseling and I am a certified Hypnobirthing
Childbirth Educator as well as birth doula. I have had a cesarean and 4 unmedicated VBACs
(Vaginal Birth After Cesarean), so VBACs and moms seeking them are very close to my heart.
Philosophy: I believe that women's bodies are designed perfectly for birthing their babies, and
that birth is a family affair. It is my goal as a doula to educate birthing parents, to empower them
to research their choices so that they begin their parenting career from a position of knowledge
and not fear. Knowledge is power. I believe that it is my role as a doula to support birthing
families in their choices and to help create a loving, happy memory of their child's birth.
How many births do you attend a year? I am currently accepting 1-2 clients per month.
I serve women birthing in these hospitals: Charlotte area
How many prenatal and postpartum visits do you provide? I will provide as many as
needed on a case by case basis.
Additional Services: I teach HypnoBirthing and I am available to consult with parents putting
together their birth plans.
