Bio: I first became interested in providing labor support for women when I was a Junior in college. I had the
privilege of assisting a good friend with the birth of her fourth child. I was blessed to have the opportunity of
pursuing my passion for pregnancy, labor support and childbirth as I served as the Executive Director of the
Pregnancy Resource Center of Statesville (Christian Pro Life Crisis Pregnancy Center) for 4 years. After
experiencing 2 miscarriages and then the birth of a healthy baby boy in the last few years, I feel called to offer
emotional support and guidance to any mother and father preparing for the miraculous birth of their child.
Philosophy: As your birth doula, I believe your emotional needs are my first priority. I believe the miracles of
conception, pregnancy and birth are God ordained processes. As a Christian, I believe as I seek God's wisdom
through His Word and prayer, He will empower me to provide the physical, emotional and informational support
you specifically need in order to help you make educated confident decisions regarding your pregnancy and
birth.
How many births do you attend a year? I do not have a set amount. Please call if you would like more
information.
I serve women birthing at these hospitals: Iredell Memorial, Davis Regional Medical Center, Lake Norman
Regional, North East Medical, Presbyterian Main & Huntersville, CMC Main.
How many prenatal and postpartum visits do you provide? Two prenatal and one postpartum
