What:  New hope, understanding, support, and education for
Charlotte families struggling with a locally challenging birth
climate and traumatic birth experiences.  1 in 3 women give
birth via cesarean section and this rate is rising. 1 in 20
women experience traumatic stress following birth. Rates of
Post Partum Depression (PPD) are on the rise. Women's
options in birth are increasingly limited, especially in the
Charlotte area where it is rumored that some local hospitals
are looking to impose limitations on Vaginal Birth After
Cesarean (VBAC).
